Greeneville-Greene County Public Library proudly announces its 2010 Summer Reading Program.
The theme for this year is “Make a Splash—Read!” There are many exciting performers lined up for this program, including magicians, storytellers, scientists, and puppeteersThe performers will encourage all levels of readers to “Make a Splash—Read!”
Registration will begin Tuesday, June 1 at the library.
The Summer Reading Program will run on Tuesdays from June 8 -
July 6.
Performances for daycare centers will be at 9:45, while the general public is invited to attend the 11:00 performance.
A teen book club will meet at 11:00 to read and discuss Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. Catching Fire is the exciting sequel to The Hunger Games, which the teen group read last year.

June 8 - Butterfly Farlow and her special puppet friends will tell underwater tales
June 15 - Debbie Dunn will invite the audience to participate as she shares her exciting stories
June 22 - Professor Mandrake will amaze the audience with his magical skills and tricks
June 29 - Greeneville High School Science Club will excite young learners with their experiments
July 6 - Magician and humorist Matt Fore will enthrall and astonish the spectators with his abilities |
