The Greeneville/Greene County Public Library is excited to announce the return of Summer Reading! The program aims to encourage life-long reading habits in children and teens. The program will run for five weeks, from May 30 to June 27, and registration will open on April 15th (online at ggcpl.readsquared.com).

Participants will stop by the library each Tuesday morning between 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. to participate in themed weekly activities with a variety of special guests, earn reading rewards, and check out new books to help meet their daily reading goals.

The theme of this year's program is "All Together Now," which celebrates the joy of reading and coming together as a community. The library is committed to promoting reading and fostering a love of learning in the community.

Participants set reading goals based on their age group (25 minutes a day for 6 and under, 30 minutes a day for ages 6-12, and 40 minutes a day for ages 12-18). Once participants have earned enough points, they will receive a completion certificate they can print and share.

The library is thrilled to offer this program once again this year. It's a great opportunity for kids, teens, and adults to develop a love for reading and to connect with others in the community who share the same passion.

For more information or if you have any questions, please call the library at 423-638-5034. To register for the Summer Reading Program, please visit ggcpl.readsquared.com.
