Zine Workshop for Teens

Library patrons age 13-18 with a passion for self-expression are invited to a new free, three-week-long program to learn about making zines at the Greeneville/Greene County Public Library! Zines (pronounced like the end of magazines) are a cheap and punk rock form of self-publishing, and zine culture is a vibrant world of self-expression and creativity! This workshop will be held on three consecutive Wednesday evenings starting September 13th at 4:30 and repeating at the same time on September 20th and 27th. Join us and start making zines of your own, and you may have the opportunity share your masterpieces with the community as part of a new non-circulating zine collection at the library, too! Supplies are provided, but space is limited to the first twelve students, so register online here or give us a call at 423-638-5034!
